Hello my friends,<\/p>\n
All is sunny and cold on this bit of my island.\u00a0 We plan a road trip, hubby and gals and I, business mixing with (what I hope will be) some pleasure.\u00a0 I am struggling because I really would rather my kids looked out the window, bickered and grizzled and “are we there yet?”-ed, but everyone else – from the kids themselves to my goodly husband to the lady who waxes my legs – insists that it’s oK to use devices on road trips.<\/p>\n
Aeroplanes – fine.\u00a0 But road trips?\u00a0 Through devastatingly beautiful scenery?\u00a0 Aargh … I cannot find peace around that one.\u00a0 Not today, at least.\u00a0 Ask me tomorrow, 5 hours in to the 6 hour drive.<\/p>\n
