Alrighty … so the power of language is well documented (*never more enjoyably than in THIS EPISODE of the podcast “On Being”) <\/a>and just lately I’ve been playing with “get to” instead of “have to”, or “should”.<\/p>\n

I have to feed the calf.\u00a0 I have to organise an early dinner for my kids tonight, so we can go out.\u00a0 I should weed my veggie garden.\u00a0 I should write that essay.<\/p>\n
